“In only a little more than five years, the Club has gone from the 'safe place for kids' to a 'safe place where kids learn to reach their full potential.' We have also increased the number of locations and children served and continually provided improved programming,” said former Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri board treasurer, Pam Allan. “Our community is better as a whole because we are equipping and changing the mind-set of the next generation. We are making them more productive citizens for our community.”

“The Boys & Girls Club is a life-changing experience for our children because as an organization we care deeply for the kids of West Central Missouri,” said former Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri board member, Bill Nicely. “We have for the first time started a legacy… Our kids, for the first time will return to work for BGC-WCM because it was BGC-WCM that made the most significant beneficial impact on their lives when they needed it the most.”
