Congratulations to our March Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Brooklyn, 11, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is always willing to help and is the first to volunteer to show new members around the Club. Brooklyn was a big help with our basketball team, including helping to coach members who had never played before.”

Cole Camp Site

Hudson, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is a great friend to all and loves to help. He’s also very responsible and always has a smile on his face.”

Dresden Site

Blake is the Youth of the Month because, “he is very kind, caring and always willing to help when needed. Blake enjoys spending time at the Club and learning new things. He’s also involved in the Piano Club and Outdoor Adventure Club through his school.”

Green Ridge Site

Cayle, 16, is the Youth of the Month because, “he comes to Club with a positive attitude and enjoys helping younger members with their homework and teaching them how to juggle. He always seems to make everyone smile.”

Heber Hunt Site

Piper, 9, is the Youth of the Month because, “she comes to Club ready to do whatever is asked of her. She loves helping her peers who are struggling with homework or just having a day where they could use a friend. Piper is full of energy and very entertaining, we love having her at the Club.”

Horace Mann Site

Jackson, 9, is the Youth of the Month because, “he’s come a long way since his first day at the Clu. When Jackson isn’t playing with his nephew or friends, he can be found with his nose in a book; in fact, we’ve run out of new books for him!”

La Monte Site

Maritza, 9, is the Youth of the Month because, “she I always involved in our activities and volunteers to help clean up afterward.”

Leeton Site

Abi is the Youth of the Month because, “she is a creative example to her peers and actively participates in Club activities. She is also kind to her fellow members and respectful to staff. Her favorite programs are art and drawing.”

Parkview Site

DeNaine is the Youth of the Month because, “he is kind to younger members, is polite, respectful and behaves well, even if no one is watching.”

Skyline Site

Olivia, 10, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is a great student and is always there to help others. She enjoys playing outside as much as possible and whenever you see her, Olivia always has a smile on her face.”

Smithton Site

Olivia, 12, is the Youth of the Month because, “she helps staff and her Club members, even when she’s not asked to. She is always respectful to everyone and enjoys helping with the Torch Store and service projects for the community.”

Washington Site

Ella is the Youth of the Month because, “she is kind to everyone at the Club and is a regular member who is here every day. Ella helps her peers by reading with younger members or helping them with worksheets during Power Hour. She is quick to volunteer and assist with whatever staff may need. She is a pleasure to have at our site.”
