Congratulations to our February Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Caleigh, 10, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is always willing to help and is a great leader for her peers. Her favorite program is STEAM because she enjoys the hands-on activities and working as a team with her peers.”

Cole Camp Site

Chase, 13, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is always respectful to adults and a great mentor to younger members. He enjoys helping during the Power Hour Program and always lends a helping hand during other programs.”

Dresden Site

Olivia is Youth of the Month because, “she’s always willing to learn new things and loves coming to Boys & Girls Club to socialize and play games with her friends. Olivia also plays piano and sings.”

Green Ridge Site

Ayda, 10, is the Youth of the Month because, “she’s very respectful and always willing to help when needed. She always does her homework during Power Hour and loves to read.”

Heber Hunt Site

Jac, 10, is the Youth of the Month because, “he always comes to Club looking for things to do. He has a great time hanging out with his friends, loves to have fun and joke around with the staff and his peers. We love having him in the program.”

Horace Mann Site

Logan, 7, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is a colorful kiddo and always has staff laughing. Logan is very helpful and would rather stay inside and help staff than go outside. He finds pleasure and enjoyment in the little things and is wonderful to have at our Club.”

La Monte Site

Mariana, 5, is the Youth of the Month because, “she loves programs and helping to clean up messes, even if they aren’t hers. She also loves making the staff laugh and always has a positive attitude at the Club.”

Leeton Site

Adrian, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “he has worked very hard on sharing and showing kindness to others. His favorite program is Triple Play.”

Parkview Site

Shaeffer, 10, is the Youth of the Month because he is kind, works hard and always follows the rules even when no one is watching.”

Skyline Site

Mia, 10, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is a great role model for her peers and the younger members at the Club and helps staff whenever and wherever needed. She enjoys STEAM and Coding programs and plays basketball and softball when she’s not at the Club.”

Smithton Site

Andrew is the Youth of the Month because of, “his positive attitude and overall personality. He always has a smile on his face and can make anyone laugh. He enjoys playing with Legos, doing robotics and drawing during Club time.”

Washington Site

Ava is the Youth of the Month because, “she’s very active at the site, always eager and willing to be involved in things. She plays for the basketball team and puts forth 100% effort during practices and games. She’s always doing what’s expected of her and is the first to volunteer to help with younger Club members. She is a joy to be around.”
