The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri will celebrate its members during Boys & Girls Club Week, March 22-28.
Across the country, more than 4,000 Clubs open their doors to more than 4 million youth, ensuring they have a safe, fun place to go after school. During Boys & Girls Club Week, community and business leaders are invited to see firsthand how the Club is changing the lives of area youth each day.
Each of BGCWCM’s 11 sites will celebrate the week with special activities and learning opportunities for members. In addition, the Club will use social media to tell the story of why Great Futures start at the Club.
“Boys & Girls Club week is our annual celebration and one of the most exciting weeks in the year for us,” said Director of Operations Stoney Hays. “Not only are we celebrating our members, but it’s a great time for the community to come in and see the impact we have on kids. We have a lot of fun things planned and hope everyone enjoys the week.”
