The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri’s teen site, The CLUB, will host a basketball camp for children who have finished fifth grade and up, August 12.
Thanks to a partnership with State Fair Community College, the Roadrunners and Lady Roadrunners teams will teach basketball fundamentals, including dribbling, passing and shooting, with special prices and T-shirts to be handed out.
“We are so appreciative the teams will be providing this great opportunity for our members,” said Site Manager Tyler Hudson. “This has created a lot of excitement among our members and they are really looking forward to it.”
Those interested in the camp must be members of the Boys & Girls Club and pay the regular daily fee, either $10 for those under 12, or $2 for those 13-years-old and up.
The basketball camp will take place from 3 to 5 p.m., August 12 at The CLUB, 314 S. Washington Ave. For more information contact the Boys & Girls Club at 660-826-8331.
