The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is hoping area community members and business leaders will “SAY Yes” this holiday season to positively impact the life of a child.
From now until the end of February, the Club is hosting a special scholarship drive through its Sponsor A Youth (SAY) Yes Fund. All monies donated to this fund go directly to providing scholarships for area youth to attend the Club.
The Club’s philosophy is that any child, no matter their family’s financial circumstance, can attend the hands-on enriched programing offered to more than
1,300 youth in the West Central Missouri area. During the 2013-2014 school year 450 members were on some sort of financial aid or scholarship, much of it coming directly from the SAY Yes Fund.
Whether it’s $5 or $5,000 all donations to the SAY Yes Fund go directly to improving the lives of area youth.
