The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is seeking business leaders and community members to contribute to its legacy of serving youth in the area.

The Club will soon launch its first endowment fund, a strategic long-term approach to ensuring sustainable funding and support of essential programs. With a solid commitment to fiscal accountability, the Club will be able to maximize the impact the endowment will have on future generations.

“While we will always have a need for general operating funds for day-to-day programs and expenses, the endowment provides a unique opportunity for donors to help us be more sustainable,” said Director of Development Melissa Boeschen.

To help kickoff the fund, the Club is seeking businesses or individuals who are interested in becoming founding members of the endowment. All those who donate to the endowment to help it reach the $100,000 level will show their commitment to bettering the lives of area youth. Special recognition will be given to founders and others who donate to the endowment.

“This is an additional opportunity for donors to contribute to the Club,” Boeschen said. “We are excited to be able to pursue this opportunity to ensure that as long as a child wants to attend the Club, our doors are open.”
