Congratulations to our October Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Eighth grader Annmarie is The CLUB’s Youth of the Month because, “she is a true believer in what the Club stands for and understands the impact the Club has on members. She also always goes the extra mile when asked to do anything.”

Cole Camp Site

High School senior Jazzmine is the Cole Camp Site’s Youth of the Month because, “She is a great role model for our younger members, who love it when she comes to Club. Jazzmine is smart, dependable and loving.”

Dresden Site

Second grader Ben is the Dresden Site’s Youth of the Month because, “he shows great leadership while at the Club, working hard to set a good example for other members. He always comes in with a smile, is loving and caring toward staff. He’s also always eager to try new and exciting things.”

Heber Hunt Site

First grader Tyson is the Heber Hunt Site’s Youth of the Month because, “he respects his peers and Club staff, is always well behaved and will help do what’s needed to be done. Tyson likes to come to Club to hang out with his friends, go to computer lab and play dodgeball.”

Horace Mann Site

Second grader Ethan is the Horace Mann Site’s Youth of the Month because, “he has grown so much – where he used to say he didn’t want to do a program or activity, now he jumps right in. He plays with everyone, especially younger members, and comes to Club with a smile and ready-to-play attitude.”

Green Ridge Site

High School senior Aliza is the Green Ridge Site’s Youth of the Month because, “she is always jumping into help with other members, whether it’s with homework or another activity. She has even done some art projects with members, who loved the extra time and attention.”

La Monte Site

First grader Amenia is the La Monte Site’s Youth of the Month because, “she is always wanting to help out, not matter what, and cleans up messes even if they’re not hers.”

Leeton Site

Fourth grader Jack is the Leeton Site’s Youth of the Month because, “he is very responsible and always willing to help out. He always makes it a point to help staff wherever needed.”

Parkview Site

Cooper is the Parkview Site’s Youth of the Month because, “he is a great Club kid, kind and always willing to help.”

Skyline Site

Second grader Brittany is the Skyline Site’s Youth of the Month because, “she is a hardworking member who always does her best. She has a positive attitude and is always excited to come to Club and lend a hand to help her fellow members and staff.”

Smithton Site

Second grader Tyler is the Smithton Site’s Youth of the Month because, “he is a great member who loves coding and crafts. Junior Youth of the Month is sixth grader Alexia because, “she is a helpful member who loves art and life skills programs.”

Washington Site

Second grader Mila is the Washington Site’s Youth of the Month because, “she is a very caring, helpful member who is always thoughtful of others.”
