The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri raised nearly $400 through its Easter HoneyBaked Ham fundraiser, which ended this week.

“The Easter HoneyBaked Ham fundraiser was a great success and we’re very thankful to those who purchased hams or turkeys to help support the Club,” said Fundraising Coordinator Meghan Jeffreys. “I want to especially thank John Beverstein, of the Columbia HoneyBaked Ham store, the community and local media outlets who supported this fundraiser.”

Though the Club has previously sold hams during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, this was the first year for Easter sales.

“The community has shown they love the delicious ham products and the convenience of ordering them for holiday gatherings,” Jeffreys added. “We look forward to offering this fundraiser again during the winter holidays.”
