Divided into four age groups – Kinder Camp, Elementary Club, Tween Club and Teen Club – the Summer Program offers children of all ages a chance to engage in fun, hands-on learning activities throughout the summer months.

For Kinder Camp members, each week of summer program has a structured theme, ranging from Dr. Suess to superheroes to the circus. Older members have the option to pick their activities to ensure they’re able to take part in what’s interesting to them.

New this year for third graders and up are three special programs – Outdoor Adventure Club, Garden Club and STEM Girls. The Outdoor Adventure and Garden clubs were created to get kids active and moving in the world around them, while STEM Girls hopes to create interest among girls in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math.

“We’re so excited for the Summer Program to start, we’ve been looking forward to seeing all the new and returning faces and showing members what fun, educational things we have planned for the next few weeks,” said Communications Coordinator Emily Jarrett.

The Club’s Summer Program runs through August 12 at both Skyline Elementary and the downtown facility, 314 S. Washington Ave. Cost is $10 per day for children up to age 12 and $2 for children 13 and older. For more information call the Club at 660-826-8331 or click here.
