After a night filled with beer tastings and music, Oktoberfest, presented by Grellner Sales, raised more than $2,200 for Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri.

Oktoberfest3“We were so excited to see everyone come out for Oktoberfest,” said Communications Director Emily Jarrett. “This was the second year Grellner hosted this event and the first time it was held at Dukes & Boots, so we weren’t quite sure what to expect.”

More than 100 people came through the doors for the event, enjoying samples of Oktoberfest-style beers and music by local band Dirt Road Addiction. Dukes & Boots owner Dale Malone also helped auction off beer-themed items donated by Grellner including several beer steins.

“We’d like to send a big thank you to everyone who helped out at the event, especially the West Central Missouri Realtors Association for their volunteer efforts, and to Dale and the staff of Dukes & Boots,” Jarrett said. “This was a great event for a great cause and we’re thankful for everyone who made it such a success.”
