The Club is currently offering tax credits under the Missouri Department of Economic Development’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP.)
This donation allows Missouri residents the ability to deduct the contribution on their taxes, as well as realize 70 percent of the donation amount directly against their adjusted gross income.
How tax credits help you
Instead of paying taxes to the state of Missouri, you make a charitable gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri. In return, the state awards NAP credits that reduce your state taxes. You can also claim a charitable deduction on your federal taxes.
How tax credits help children in the area
As part of NAP, agencies must conduct projects to show youth development. Locally, Club has set several goals including:
- Increase members’ academic achievement in math, science or language arts.
- Increase members’ physical fitness and knowledge of health.
- Increase teen members’ readiness for college and/or career
- Complete multiple service learning projects.
