Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is no longer offering tax credits through the Neighborhood Assistance Program.
How tax credits help you
Instead of paying taxes to the state of Missouri, you make a charitable gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri. In return, the state awards credits that reduce your state taxes. You can also claim a charitable deduction on your federal taxes.
How tax credits help children in the area
Agencies must conduct projects to show youth development. Locally, Club has set several goals including:
- Increase members’ life skills (cooking, budgeting, etc.)
- Increase members’ physical fitness and knowledge of health
- Increase teen members’ readiness for college and/or career
- Complete a cumulative 1,000 hours of community service projects
If you would like to learn more about your tax credit options, speak with your local accountant or CPA. If you would like to learn more about how purchasing tax credits can help the children at Boys & Girls Club, contact Director of Development Cherie Beltran at 660-826-8331 or email@example.com.
