Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is now offering 50% tax credits through the Missouri Department of Economic Development’s Neighborhood Assistance Program. Interested buyers must own their own business or have farming income.
How tax credits help you
Instead of paying taxes to the state of Missouri, you make a charitable gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri. In return, the state awards credits that reduce your state taxes. You can also claim a charitable deduction on your federal taxes.
How tax credits help local children
Agencies must conduct projects that show youth development. Locally, Club has set several goals including:
- Increasing digital literacy
- Increasing literacy
- Increasing physical activity
- Increasing knowledge of workforce development in teen members
If you would like to learn more about your tax credit options, speak with your local accountant or CPA. If you would like to learn more about how purchasing tax credits can help the children at Boys & Girls Club, contact Director of Development Emily Schmidt at 660-826-8331 or eschmidt@bgckids.com.
