Congratulations to our December Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Danna, 10, is the Junior Youth of the Month because, “she is always friendly and loves to help everyone she can. Danna has a special relationship with a peer who has autism, going above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and included.”

Nicholas, 14, is the Teen Youth of the Month because, “though he is a newer member, he has integrated himself seamlessly. He’s extremely helpful assisting staff, works hard to do his best with homework and never hesitates to ask for help when he needs it.”

Dane, 8, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is helpful, respectful and a good friend to his classmates.”

Dresden Site 

Addison, 7, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is sweet, kind and caring. She always has a smile to offer and is always ready for fun.”

Green Ridge Site

Gage, 12, is the Youth of the Month because, “he has been an incredible help this year, helping staff, being welcoming to everyone and making friends with other members.”

Heber Hunt Site 

Gavin, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “he comes to the Club and does everything that is expected of him. He plays with his friends, loves to go to programs just to see what is going to be fun that day. Gavin is a really is a great young man and we are happy to have him in our Club.”

Horace Mann Site

Zaylynn, 10, is the Youth of the Month because, “her attitude has greatly improved and she comes to Club with a smile on her face. She has also taken on a leadership role at the Club and become more responsible.”

La Monte Site

Jessica, 8, is the Youth of the Month because, “she has the biggest and sweetest heart, recently taking it upon herself to make a sympathy card for a BGC staff member. She also loves to read during Power Hour and work on her AR testing goals.”

Leeton Site

Rylee, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is kind, always comes to Club with a smile and helps staff and her peers.”

Parkview Site

Emma is the Youth of the Month because, “she’s very respectful and does the right thing, even when no one is watching.”

Skyline Site

Bella, 5, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is always one of the first members to volunteer to help, is kind and constantly making new friends.”

Smithton Site

Tyler, 8, is the Youth of the Month because of, “his honesty, not only to BGC staff  but also his fellow Club members. He always comes to Club with a positive attitude and works hard every day to do the right thing.”

Washington Site

America, 7, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is always asking if she can help in any way and gets a great example for others to follow.”
