Congratulations to our December Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Izzy is the Junior Youth of the Month because she has been a big help with multiple projects this semester, including promotion of penny wars. Izzy has shown all of us that she definitely has a passion for giving back to her community and tries to inspire her fellow CLUB members to be as equally as passionate.

Austin is the Teen Youth of the Month because he is one of the more entertaining and animated CLUB members we have; we appreciate his knack for always making us laugh. Austin has a heart of gold and it shows as he goes above and beyond to make people around him feel cared about and protected.

Cole Camp Site

Kade is the Elementary Youth of the Month because he has been working hard on his sight words and setting an example to his peers by following directions and being respectful.

Wesleigh is the Junior Youth of the Month because he is kind, honest and hardworking. Wesleigh is excelling in Power Hour and always strives to help others.

Dresden Site

Kinsey is the Youth of the Month because she is always ready for fun and friendship at the Club. She’s a joy to have at our site.

Green Ridge

Emery is the Youth of the Month because she is a ray of sunshine from the time she comes to Club to the time she goes home. Emery is very passionate about keeping others involved in activities and helping her peers if they fall behind.

Heber Hunt Site 

Olivia is the Youth of the Month because comes to Club everyday to play with her friends, have fun and joke around with staff. She’s always looking to help those who need it and is good for a hug when she comes to Club.

Horace Mann Site

Yolanda is the Youth of the Month because she is super helpful to staff and her peers and enjoys Club programs and making new friends.

La Monte

Arely is the Youth of the Month because she has been very helpful with two of our new kindergarten members acting as a mentor and playing outside with them.

Leeton Site

Ayden is the Elementary Youth of the Month because he’s eager to participate in whatever staff have planned, loves interacting with other members and is always trying to include others.

Lucas is the Junior Youth of the Month because he comes to Club always willing to try something once, gets involved in other members and what they’re doing and there isn’t anyone he can’t talk to or find interesting to talk about.

Parkview Site

Makayla is the Youth of the Month because she is helpful, a good friend, a hard worker and always follows directions.

Skyline Site

Alyssa is the Youth of the Month because she comes to Club with a smile on her face and lots of energy. In December, Alyssa was especially helpful putting all that energy into helping with the Club’s service projects.

Smithton Site

Lillian is the Elementary Youth of the Month because she works hard and is very persistent with everything she does. Lillian is always willing to help other members and enjoys the Healthy Habits Program.

Jessie is the Junior Youth of the Month because she is kind-hearted, honest and respectful toward her peers and Club staff. Jessie enjoys making others happy and the STEAM Program.

Washington Site

Mia is the Youth of the Month because she is very sweet, a hard worker and a good listener. Mia is always willing to do whatever she can to help staff or her peers. She loves art and is very artistic.
