Congratulations to our January Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Tucker is the Junior Youth of the Month because, “he is a hard worker, good friend and overall great member. His awesome attitude and personality enhances the positive atmosphere we strive to make at The CLUB. Tucker knows how to make people laugh when they’re down and there isn’t a minute at CLUB when he isn’t reaching out to his peers to try and make their day a little better.”

Zarana is the Teen Youth of the Month because, “she is a strong leader and makes every CLUB member feel welcome and accepted. Zarana sets a great example on how to follow the four core areas of the code of conduct and always jumps at the opportunity to assist staff.”

Cole Camp Site

Kenidy, 10, is the Youth of the Month because, “she has been a huge help to the staff, getting her own homework done and then helping her younger peers without being asked. Kenidy always has a positive attitude and is fun for others to be around.”

Dresden Site

Jenna is the Youth of the Month because, “she is always friendly to staff and her peers, greeting them with a smile.”

Green Ridge

Ayden, 8, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is always respectful, listens well and sets a great example for his peers.”

Heber Hunt Site 

Atticus, 8, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is always polite, willing to help and comes to Club every day looking to have fun and hang out with his friends.”

Horace Mann Site

Daniel is the Youth of the Month because, “he loves to help staff anytime he can and brings smiles to everyone’s faces. Daniel is very outgoing and loves to have fun at the Club.”

La Monte

Noah, 11, is the Youth of the Month because, “he has been working very hard on his homework during Power Hour time and if he needs help, he’s always sure to ask for it. Noah loves reading.”

Leeton Site

LeRoy, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “he has been an amazing help for Club staff, tries to participate in every activity/program and offers to clean up and help others.”

Parkview Site

Peyton is the Youth of the Month because, “she’s kind to everyone and is a big help around the Club Site.”

Skyline Site

Brantley, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “he helps staff straighten up the Club Site and assists others when needed. Brantley enjoys being at the Club and doing programs, especially the Art Program because he loves to paint. He also enjoys playing Legos during Club free time.”

Smithton Site

Gunner, 5, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is kind, honest and helpful, especially when he sees others are in need of help. Gunner enjoys STEAM and Healthy Habits programs.”

Washington Site

Avianna, 10, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is a friend to everyone and treats everyone like her closest friend. We have watched Avianna grow into a caring, respectful and happy fourth grader.”
