Each month Club sites recognize a youth of the month. These special Club members have demonstrated good character and leadership, and a commitment to their academics and healthy lifestyle choices. Youth of the month members are chosen by site staff.
The CLUB
Sixth grader Brianna is The CLUB’s youth of the month. Her favorite food is steak and favorite subject is math. When she grows up, she wants to be an actress, singer or teacher. Brianna’s favorite program is Torch Club, of which she’s also the president.
Cole Camp Site
Fourth grader Payton is the Cole Camp Site’s elementary youth of the month while fifth grader Riley is the site’s teen youth of the month.
Green Ridge Site
Lexi is the youth of the month for the Green Ridge Site.
Heber Hunt Site
Third grader Diamond is the youth of the month for the Heber Hunt Site. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite food is macaroni. She would like to be a teacher when she grows up.
Horace Mann Site
First grader Koleman is the youth of the month for the Horace Mann Site.
La Monte Site
Michele is the La Monte Site’s youth of the month.
Leeton Site
Seventh grader Lexi is the Leeton Site’s youth of the month. She has attended the Club for five years.
Parkview Site
Fourth grader Madison is the Parkview Site youth of the month. She is an A/B student who has been a member of the Club for several years now. Madison is always ready and willing to lend a hand, especially when it involves her fellow classmates or younger club members.
Smithton Site
Third graders Connor is the Smithton Site’s elementary youth of the month. His favorite activity at the Club is learning sign language and his favorite school subject is math. Fifth grader Lillian is the Smithton Site’s intermediate youth of the month. Her favorite program is the cooking aspect of Energy In/ Energy Out. Seventh grader Chance is the Smithton Site’s teen youth of the month. Chase said he enjoys when the teens go to their own space and talk about the kind of day they have had or whatever is on their minds.
Skyline Site
Second grader Corie is the Skyline Site’s youth of the month. Corie likes to play soccer and when she grows up she would like to be a teacher.
Washington Site
Kindergartener Ava is the Washington Site youth of the month. Her favorite thing to do is play with her brother and her favorite color is pink. Ava’s favorite thing to do at the Club is play with Play Dough and her favorite program is art because she likes to paint.
