Congratulations to our April Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.
The CLUB
Vivionna is the Junior Youth of the Month because she does a great job of following the Club Code of Conduct and makes it a point to personally thank each staff member for the things they helped her with that day. Vivionna has such a sweet and kind personality and we love the energy she brings to The CLUB.
Austin is the Teen Youth of the Month because he does a great job of working on his homework and asking for help when he needs it. Austin has been working on resolving his frustrations in a positive way and has been extremely successful at this. He’s a great role model for his peer and continues to care for and look for ways to help everyone.
Cole Camp Site
Cooper is the Youth of the Month because he has been working hard during Power Hour, is always telling jokes and making others smile and has been interested in program options.
Dresden Site
Charli is the Youth of the Month because she is always excited to come to Club and participate in activities. Charlie is a good friend and always makes staff laugh.
Green Ridge
Ethan is the Youth of the Month because he works hard during Power Hour and program time.
Heber Hunt Site
Garruck is the Youth of the Month because he comes to Club with a smile, ready to get the day started. Garruck is always wanting to know what’s for snack and looking for a fist bump or a hug. He feels comfortable around staff and is always looking to play with friends or make a new one. We love having him at our site.
Horace Mann Site
Harmony is the Youth of the Month because she loves participating in programs, wants to be friends with everyone and is very helpful, especially with cleaning the site.
La Monte
Adelaida is the Youth of the Month because she works hard on her sight words and has lots of fun while at the Club. Adelaida loves participating in programs, hanging out with her friends and follows directions very well.
Parkview Site
Zayden is the Youth of the Month because he follows directions, is nice to others and is very helpful around the Club Site.
Skyline Site
Hudson is the Youth of the Month because not only is he a great basketball player, he is kind to everyone and is always willing to help.
Smithton Site
Krista is the Elementary Youth of the Month because she is always working on being the best person she can be. Krista is also kind-hearted and always brings a lot of energy to the Club.
Rowan is the Junior Youth of the Month because she is responsible, caring, outgoing and enjoys making other members feel happy when they’re having a bad day.
Washington Site
Bobby is the Youth of the Month because he is helpful to staff and is always going out of his way to help others.
