BGC names December Youth of the Month nominees

Congratulations to our December Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Jace, 10, was chosen as Youth of the Month because, “he is one of the kindest kids you will ever meet. He enjoys helping with everything and is always the first to volunteer. His favorite program at the site is Coding for the Future and Robotics.”

Cole Camp Site

Kenidy, 8, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is cheerful and is the first to volunteer when staff need help.”

Dresden Site

Aubrey, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “she always offers a helping hand to new members to get them acquainted with the Club and activities. She enjoys coming to Club, getting her homework done and playing with friends.”

Green Ridge Site

Acesyn, 5, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is very respectful, tries his best and offers to help when he is at the Club.”

Heber Hunt Site

Edison, 9, was chosen as Youth of the Month because, “He has been a great member at Boys & Girls Club. He comes to the program every day looking to do what is asked of him. Edison loves to be around his friends, take part in Coding and STEAM Programs and is great at helping others.”

Horace Mann Site

Jerrick, 5, was chosen as the Youth of the Month because, “of his generosity; he is always willing to share whatever he has with someone else.”

La Monte Site

Kendra, 11, was chosen as the Youth of the Month because, “she’s always helping out around the Club Site and has a positive attitude. She enjoys interacting with staff and helping younger members.”

Leeton Site

Ayden, 7, was chosen as the Youth of the Month because, “he is always helpful around the Club when it’s time to clean up, has a positive attitude and looks forward to helping staff whenever needed.”

Parkview Site

Elly is the Youth of the Month because, “happy, cheerful, kind to others, follows directions and finishes her homework.”

Skyline Site

Kooper, 9, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is a leader for the other members and is very respectful and dependable. Kooper loves playing dodgeball in the gym and playing the drones outside.”

Smithton Site

Elizabeth is the Elementary Youth of the Month because, “she is very outgoing and always kind. She is always willing to do new things, from science experiments to new Triple Play Program games. She’s a very smart, funny and caring member.” Keyan is the Junior Youth of the Month because, “he is so humble and kind. He always knows how to make people laugh and always looking to help others. Keyan enjoys Robotics, Triple Play and doing hands-on experiments.”

Washington Site

Lesley, 9, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is an upstanding member of Boys & Girls Club and is always willing to help staff or her peers during Club time.”
