Congratulations to our December Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.
The CLUB
Dakota is the Youth of the Month because he is always kind to others, helpful to staff and members alike, and it’s a community team player at our site. Dakota makes BGC better!
Cole Camp Site
Charley is the Youth of the Month for December because she is an outstanding member and a huge help around the site. Charley is respectful, follows instructions and is goofy and so fun to have around the Club with us!
Dresden Site
Jenna is the Youth of the Month because she has really come out of her shell and has had a ton of fun at our Club Site. Jenna is kind to everyone, offers to help and always makes us laugh. We enjoy having her at our Club and are so proud of her!
Green Ridge
Belle is the Youth of the Month because she brings a positive energy to the Club Site and always knows how to make staff laugh.
Heber Hunt Site
Lyla is the Youth of the Month because she’s a bundle of joy to have at our Club Site. Lyla comes to programs ready to take on whatever tasks she is asked to do. She’s also a wonderful helper and is in charge of drawing out the names of snack helpers.
Horace Mann Site
Keegan is the Youth of the Month because he’s a big helper to staff and his peers no matter what’s needed.
La Monte
Zoey is the Youth of the Month because she has done a great job reading to younger members and helping out with activities during program time.
Leeton Site
Skylar is the Youth of the Month because he has considerate of those around him and is always willing to step in and help his peers and staff.
Parkview Site
Broly is the Youth of the Month because he’s kind to his friends, follows directions and is creative.
Skyline Site
Hudson is the Youth of the Month because he listens to directions and goes above and beyond to help his friends do the same. Hudson is always willing to help staff and has been an especially big help with our wandering kindergarteners to keep them busy and hang out with them. He’s a great influence in our Club Site.
Smithton Site
The Elementary Youth of the Month is Porter because he is someone we can always count on to be positive and try his best during programs, even if he’s having a difficult time. Porter is helpful, caring, kind and very respectful. We enjoy having him at our Club!
Chase is the Teen Youth of the Month because he’s really made improvements this year, stepping up and running programs and taking the time to help out in anyway.
Washington Site
Samaya is the Youth of the Month because she is always smiling and happy to help others. Samaya’s favorite activity is reading buddies because she loves reading to the kindergarteners.
