Congratulations to our September Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Mason, 10, is the Junior Youth of the Month because, “he is a great example of what having fun at The CLUB is all about. He comes in and jumps head-first into all activities without argument or a negative attitude. He has a great attitude and is fun to be around, proving Club Staff with suggestions on how to amp up the fun during program time.”

Victor, 14, is the Teen Youth of the Month because, “he is a leader amongst his peers, a friend to everyone at Club and is usually one of the first to offer to help staff when needed. Victor also strives to be successful in school by making sure he asks questions during Power Hour when he is struggling with homework.”

Cole Camp Site

Mackenzie, 14, is the Youth of the Month because, “She is kind, helpful and responsible. Mackenzie is also a Junior Staffer who works with kindergarten members.”

Dresden Site 

Conner is the Youth of the Month because, “he loves coming to the Club and is always excited to learn new things. Conner also always greets Club staff and his friends with a smile.”

Green Ridge

Tayten is the Youth of the Month because, “he has been working hard to follow directions and help whenever he can, cleaning up after snack almost every day. Tayten always has a big smile n his face, enjoys participating in Epic Reading and Smart Moves.”

Heber Hunt Site 

Cora, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “she comes to Club every day with a smile on her face, looking to have fun and meet new friends. She is always willing to help whenever needed and is great to have at our program.”

Horace Mann Site

Madelyn, 9, is the Youth of the Month because, “she is always engaged, respectful and willing to help whenever needed. Madelyn also always has bright ideas she shares with Club staff.”

La Monte

Matteo is the Youth of the Month because, “he has been very helpful making sure the trash can is out during snack time and also helping a kindergarten member.”

Leeton Site

Rodney, 6, is the Youth of the Month because, “he is respectful to Club Staff and other members and is always friendly. Rodney goes above and beyond Club expectations.”

Parkview Site

Journi is the Youth of the Month because, “she jokes with everyone, always makes an effort to be kind and is considerate of others.”

Skyline Site

Bryson is the Youth of the Month because, “he always follows directions and is willing to help out in any way he can. Bryson has been coming to Club since he was in kindergarten and always has a happy, cheerful attitude and contagious smile.”

Smithton Site

Jireh, 7, is the Youth of the Month because, “she comes to Club with a smile on her face and always tries to make others happy. Jireh enjoys STEAM, coding and arts, as well as getting to see her friends during Club time.”

Washington Site

Cannon, 9, is the Youth of the Month because, “he’s always the first to ask if he can help with anything and sets a great example for younger members by always trying to do the right thing.”
