Congratulations to our January Youth of the Month nominees. We’d also like to give a special thanks to McDonald’s for sponsoring YOM – each Boys & Girls Club member will receive a treat for their accomplishment.

The CLUB

Kyla is the Junior Youth of the Month because she loves to be involved with CLUB programs including Beat Makers, art projects and service projects. Kyla is a strong advocate for improvements at The CLUB and always strives to make sure it’s a great and fun place for her peers.

Abby is the Teen Youth of the Month because she continues to be a great leader and role model. Abby is taking on a larger role this semester assisting with the Beat Makers group, lending her talents to help make her fellow Beat Maters stronger performers.

Cole Camp Site

Morgan is the Youth of the Month because she does her work well and helps others with their homework.

Dresden Site

Ben is the Youth of the Month because he’s always willing to help out when needed and is a great friend to others.

Green Ridge

Julia has been a great role model, showing her peers how important it is to get homework finished. Julia stays focused on the task at hand and has learned to control her emotions while showing kindness to other members.

Heber Hunt Site 

Evan is the Youth of the Month because he always does what he’s told, likes to make friends and loves to give the staff hugs, which brightens their days.

Horace Mann Site

Isaiah is the Youth of the Month because he’s always helpful to staff and his peers. Isaiah enjoys participating in programs and always puts a smile on everyone’s faces.

La Monte

Mateo is the Youth of the Month because he takes responsibility during Power Hour, making sure to share his spelling lists with this peers. Mateo is very helpful cleaning up the Club Site and never hesitates to volunteer to help.

Leeton Site

LeRoy is the Elementary Youth of the Month because he is very polite to staff and his peers, always involved in programs and is always the first to start working on his homework.

Lily is the Junior Youth of the Month because she helps younger members with their homework, reading or getting onto the computer. Lily comes to Club with a smile on her face and can usually be found drawing something for herself or others. She’s hands-on during programs and always willing to help others.

Parkview Site

Makayla is the Youth of the Month because she’s a good friend to others, is fun, always smiling and follows directions.

Skyline Site

Guthrie is the Youth of the Month because she goes out of her way to be kind to others and is a great role model for her peers.

Smithton Site

Ben is the Elementary Youth of the Month because he is so friendly to others, caring and respectful. Ben cares about everyone and has a positive, can-do attitude.

Dean Patrick is the Junior Youth of the Month because he is not only respectful to staff but his peers as well and comes to Club with a positive attitude every day.

Washington Site

Bryson is the Youth of the Month because he is one of our most helpful members, always willing to stop and help staff and his peers. Bryson keeps up laughing and we are so proud of how much he’s improved over the last few months.
