The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri raised more than $3,200 with its inaugural Ladies Night Out fundraising event, held Tuesday in Cole Camp.
The event featured live and silent gently used purse auctions, along with wine and beer pairings and hors o’doeuvres. Cole Camp Site Manager Tara Walker and SPARK Program Manager Cheryl Petersen spearheaded the event, which invited area women out for a night of sipping and shopping.
“We are so excited Ladies Night Out did so well,” Walker said. “We’re very thankful to all our sponsors, attendees and especially Handel Haus who allowed us to take over their store for the evening.
“We hope to make this an annual event and give the ladies of Cole Camp and Sedalia a great, fun option to help out the Boys & Girls Club.”
