The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri has announced Barry Henderson as its interim executive director. Henderson, who has served as a BGC Board Member since 2014, will lead the Club while a board member-led search committee continues to interview long-term applicants.
“I’m excited about stepping into this role while the search committee continues its work finding the next leader of Boys & Girls Club,” Henderson said. “I first got involved in the Club through a tour of one of the Club Sites and I knew pretty immediately this was a cause and a mission I believed in. I’m happy to continue to serve the Club and its members in this new capacity.”
Henderson has been involved in BGC for nearly 10 years, including serving as Board President from 2018 to 2020 and chair of the Member Success Committee. He regularly volunteers at Club events and is known for his fondness of popping by Club Sites to interact with kids during program time.
